On leading a team that loves you

This evening, a team member called me. 3 hours after work. To talk about how he could be a better leader. 40 minutes into the conversation, I was filled with so much joy. I’ve built a great time. I’ve built ridiculously smart and responsible people. People that know and give me all the respect I deserve, but don’t fail to approach me. Even tell me they love me. If I’ve won at anything g, it’s leading a team. It’s leading this team; and getting them to do brilliant work that’s made the organisation one of the most formidable fintechs in Africa.
